Bosque County Blast for February 1, 2021

In this episode, we hear from Owner Tracey Byrd of Blossom Shoppe Etc about Valentine’s Day traditions in floral bouquets, and even gifts for the man cave.  You’ll hear from the co-founder of Abigail’s Place, and what the organization continues to do for women in Bosque County. The group addresses challenges women face such as parenting, weight loss and even more serious issues like domestic violence. We cover local upcoming events like the Healthy Kids Running Series registration, Chili Cookoff in Meridian, and of course, events to share with that someone special. You’ll hear from Linda Lucas Hardy, a master color pencil artist who uses sandpaper, Prismacolors, draft film and both sides of the paper to create depth and full-blown works of art.
