Unresponsive Man Found in Northwest Albuquerque, Police Seek Answers

Albuquerque police are investigating after a man was found dead in northwest Albuquerque on Tuesday morning. Officers responded to a call around 6 a.m. reporting an unresponsive individual in a residential area near Coors Boulevard and Montaño Road.

Upon arrival, they discovered a man with apparent signs of trauma. Emergency medical services were called to the scene but were unable to revive the victim. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.

Detectives are actively working to gather information and evidence. They are canvassing the neighborhood, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing surveillance footage from nearby homes and businesses. The Albuquerque Police Department is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.

“We are committed to finding out what happened and bringing justice to the victim and his family,” said APD spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos. He emphasized the importance of community cooperation in solving the case.
