Two individuals are wanted in relation to the shooting death of Ernesto Joe Vidaurri, 45, at 3721 Hage Street in the Eastex-Jensen Area on December 7, 2023, at around 8:40 p.m., according to CCTV footage provided by Houston police.
Two unidentified males are the suspects. One had on black sneakers, light-colored sweatpants, and a dark hoodie. The second suspect carried what looked like a red bag or gas can and was dressed in blue trousers, dark shoes, a blue Dallas Cowboys jacket, and a dark beanie. The camera footage showed a brilliant blue Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck leaving the scene of the incident.
Vidaurri, better known by his nickname Sumo, was discovered unconscious and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside his home by officers responding to a robbery call. He was declared dead at the scene by rescuers from the Houston Fire Department.
