Adrian Odell McGee, 22, has been taken into custody by Houston police in relation to the November 23, 2024, shooting death of Johnny Felder, 34, who was discovered at 7800 Tidwell Road at around 7:30 p.m. The 351st State District Court has charged McGee with murder.
After responding to a shooting at the aforementioned residence, HPD patrol officers found Felder lying between the curb and the roadway, unconscious. Paramedics from the Houston Fire Department declared him dead at the scene after he had sustained several gunshot wounds.
There were no known witnesses or suspects at the time of the crime. Two people of interest were found during the preliminary investigation, and on December 6, surveillance images were made public. After making a statement to investigators, one of the people was freed without being charged. The second person, who has not been identified, is still being sought by detectives.
McGee was identified as the culprit after more research. When he was charged with murder in this instance, he was already being held at the Harris County Jail on other charges.
