Bosque Genealogical Society to host third of United States Migration Lecture Series this Sunday

The Bosque County Genealogical Society will host a lecture this Sunday, January 9. “United States Migration Series: Part III – Opening the West 1840-1845” by LeAnne McCamey will be presented from 1 to 3 p.m. The event takes place at the Clifton Civic Center, located at 403 West Third Street in Clifton.

A DNA Workshop rescheduled from last year titled “Getting Started on GEDmatch” with Patti Huff Smith will also be held Saturday, February 12. 

BCGS hosts quarterly informational and historical educational presentations, with the next one in April entitled “My Daddy Rode the Orphan Train” by Dawna Alsabrook.
