Bosque County Blast for February 22, 2021

We’ve put together an episode featuring residents across Bosque County on how they battled the winter storm. For our feature stories today, you’ll hear from Iredell residents that worked hard to band together and overcome adversity during the arctic blast. We’ve got a special segment on a Carter Blood Care Drive in Clifton, and how giving blood can land you free tickets to the Cliftex Theater. We talked to Brett Voss of the Meridian Parks & Recreation Department about the upcoming Chili Cookoff planned this year, a segment to recurring with a growing roster of planned activities and events for the whole family. You’ll also hear heartwarming stories of families that weathered the storm at Uncle Gus’ Marina and Resort, and the extreme generosity they experience during their unplanned stays. Listen in for local events, your arrest report from the Bosque County Sheriff’s Office and specials across Bosque. Look below for some beautiful photos of Uncle Gus’ Marina and Resort, as shot by Gerald Crawford.
