Clifton Car Show draws 58 Entries, Winners in more than 25 categories

The first Clifton Car Show held June 19 drew 58 entries. The club received half a dozen new members after the show, and according to one member of the Cen-Tex Classics & Hot Rod Club, moved onto shadier parts of Clifton City Park near the armory at the last minute.

The decision proved to be an excellent one, as rows of cars were shaded from the hot June sun. Organizers were happy with the turnout and how the event went, with the show to continue in future years. Listed below are winners with make and model, in addition to location. Many participants in the show were local the area:

"In the future, we will be using whatever funds we have available to present scholarships to kids or a nonprofit organization, whether it's human trafficking or something else. This first year, we did okay, and it was no loss. Our goal is to be able to fund some organization to benefit the community."
