The Meridian Police Department recently released call numbers for November. Vehicle maintenance, a welfare concern, animal estray, assistance , public relations contact, and suspicious circumstance all made up single calls last month. Police performed 16 business checks and made 39 neighborhood patrols. Six calls were juvenile contact, while the department found property on one call. A total of 54 calls were for traffic enforcement. Officers issued 70 traffic citations and 61 warnings for traffic violations.
