The First SeptemberFest 2.0 will take place Saturday, September 11, with a ton planned for attendees to do. Join in the fun by visiting or taking part in the State Championship BBQ Cookoff. Festivities actually begin Friday, September 10, with kids activities to start at Wade Lee City Park at 7 p.m. The park is located at State Highway 22 and 4th Street in the Gap.

On Saturday, friends of the Cranfills Gap ISD will host the All-Class Reunion Lunch at noon. The cost is $20 per person at the door, at the school. At 11:30 a.m., a ceremony for the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 will begin at the Veterans Memorial in Wade Lee City Park. Following the ceremony, Goat Roping in the park will begin at 1 p.m. 

A car show is set from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wade Lee City Park. To register or find out more information, call Kenneth Reierson at 264-386-7017. Arts and Crafts booths will also be located at the park. To become a vendor or find our more, call 254-597-1515. At 10 a.m. Saturday, a parade will begin at St. Olaf Lutheran Church parking lot. Last but not least, at dark, organizers will begin a movie in the park. The film be Jungle Cruise.
