The first weekend of Uncle Gus’ Marina and Resort Third Thursday Trade Days went off with a hitch during spring break. The event began Thursday, March 18 and continued through the afternoon Sunday, March 21.
Overall, the event had a good turnout, with many stopping through on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to find bargains and unique items like no other.
Vendors were diverse in goods offered, with the event expected to gain more as it continues each month.
Rockin’ KC Barbecue, CJ Designs, Juniper Cove Winery, Katherine Jacobi’s outdoor furniture and ornaments with Spanish Oak Stack, Smoking Barrel Gypsy, Bling Babe, P4 Farm Custom Creations, UpGiftz, Sassy Sweet Indulgence, GMR Healing, Color Street Nails and many more joined to sell their wares.
Randy Smithwick of Straight Eyes Custom Rods joined with some reels and rods. He specializes in custom-made rods for fly, bass, crappie, striper, catfish and more.
The event will continue the Third Thursday of each month. Be sure to give Uncle Gus’ Marina and Resort a like on Facebook, and stop by the website for more updates as the warmer months on the water are upon us.
