Tire Amnesty Event for all Bosque residents at Clifton City Park

Bosque County Residents are encouraged to bring trash tires to the Tire Amnesty Event to be held at Clifton City Park Saturday, June 12. The tire collection will be held at the Armory Parking Lot at 400 East 2nd Street in Clifton from 8 a.m. to noon. 

The Armory is located near the Old Football Field at Clifton City Park.

Those interested are encouraged to bring trash tires to the event at no cost. Only passenger, light truck and 18-wheeler tires will be accepted. Tractor or heavy equipment tires will not be accepted. All tires must be off the rim, and they will be accepted until no space remains. Anyone looking to bring tires must bring proof of Bosque County residency. The collection is for private citizens and personal purposes, not commercial.  

The event is provided by grant funding through the Heart of Texas Council of Governments, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, and the City of Clifton. For more information. if you’re a resident that needs assistance or questions, call 254-675-8337.
