According to police, a shooting occurred Thursday night in Northeast Portland that injured an 18-year-old man.
The individual was discovered by officers when they arrived at the intersection of Northeast 72nd Avenue and Prescott Street at approximately 11:30 p.m. Police said his injuries are not life-threatening, and he was brought to a hospital.
Police concluded that the shooting most likely took place close to Cully Park. The culprit has not been found as he ran away before the cops arrived.
According to authorities, all of the individuals engaged in the incident are acquainted in some manner. While examining a car, officers discovered a pistol attached to the injured individual, who has not been named by the authorities.
