Charmaine Sanchez, a serial shoplifter, appeared in court on Tuesday due to a parole violation. This violation occurred after she failed a court-ordered drug test. As a result, a judge sentenced Sanchez to three years in prison.
Earlier this year, Sanchez had been facing a potential 22-year sentence for shoplifting merchandise valued at $8,000. However, after accepting a plea deal, she received a sentence of five years of supervised probation. Additionally, she was prohibited from entering any of the stores she had been charged with shoplifting from. Now, due to the parole violation, she has been sentenced to three years in prison.
