Albuquerque Neighborhood Alarmed by Man’s Bizarre Behavior

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Residents of a northeast Albuquerque neighborhood are increasingly concerned about a man exhibiting strange and escalating behavior. The neighborhood, located near Wyoming and Indian School in the Heights, has been dealing with the unsettling presence for over a month.

Randy Martin, a concerned neighbor, captured the man’s antics on his home security cameras. Initially, the man was seen dancing on the curb in a pile of trash. “It was awkward and concerning,” Martin said. As per to the source Yahoo

The situation has since worsened. The man has been seen pounding on doors at night, making bizarre statements like, “I’m going to get the snake and kill the snake.” He has also attempted to break into cars and stolen mail from a neighbor’s house.

Martin’s cameras also recorded the man holding what appeared to be a drug pipe. “We’re worried for our safety and his. Dancing in the middle of the street at night is dangerous for everyone,” Martin added.

Other neighbors share Martin’s concerns. One resident reported the man chasing dog walkers, forcing them to seek refuge in a garage. The neighborhood fears the presence of nearby gas stations may be attracting more unhoused individuals.

Despite calling the police, Martin has not yet spoken with an officer. KRQE News 13 reached out to the Albuquerque Police Department for comment but has not received a response.
