Houston Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Person of Interest in Fatal Shooting

The public is being asked to help Houston police find 18-year-old Zavion Joshua Pabon in relation to the November 24, 2024, shooting death of a 37-year-old man at 3850 Wilcrest Drive.

After hearing reports of a shooting, officers arrived on the site at approximately 1:40 p.m. After being discovered with a gunshot wound, the victim was sent to a nearby hospital in severe condition. On Nov. 28, 2024, he was declared dead.

Although Pabon is not currently facing charges, authorities are sharing his June 2023 booking photo because they believe he is a person of interest in the case. Investigators want to talk to him about what happened.
