The fatality of a 15-year-old boy who was hit by a Union Pacific train at around 7:35 a.m. today morning, December 9, 2024, is being looked into by Houston police. The event took place in Broadway Street, 2000.
The young person was hit while trying to cross in front of a moving train; the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is still investigating his identify. When paramedics reached the scene, they declared the man dead.
There are now no signs of foul play, leading authorities to conclude that the tragedy was an accident. The Homicide Division of the Houston Police Department is working with the Union Pacific Police Department to carry out the investigation.
