Police seek Wilsonville warehouse manager who allegedly stole $1.2 million in products and equipment

Police in Sherwood are requesting assistance in locating a 36-year-old man who is suspected of stealing goods and machinery valued at over $1 million from the warehouse where he was employed.

The Sherwood Police Department said in a statement on Tuesday that Adrian Cooper, a Wilsonville resident, was a warehouse manager for Okonite Manufacturing, a nationwide business that manufactures subterranean wiring for public utilities. The agency began looking into Cooper’s crime in April after learning that he allegedly stole and sold inventory and equipment valued at over $1.2 million, according to police.

On October 18, a judge issued an arrest warrant for Cooper after a grand jury indicted him on ten counts of first-degree aggravated theft and two counts of unlawful use of a vehicle, according to police.

Police still don’t know Cooper’s location after two months. They advised anyone with information regarding the case or his whereabouts to contact [email protected] via email.
