The Albuquerque Police Department (APD) has reported a significant decrease in the city’s murder rate. According to recent statistics, the number of homicides has dropped by 15% compared to the same period last year. This decline is attributed to several strategic initiatives implemented by the APD, including increased patrols in high-crime areas, enhanced community engagement, and the use of advanced crime analysis techniques to predict and prevent violent crimes.
