Fatal Crash on FM 969 Road in Austin Claims One Life, Two Injured

Officers from the Austin Police Department (APD) responded to a collision involving two automobiles in the Rogers Hill neighborhood on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at around 9:15 p.m. While the driver and passenger of the second vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital with severe injuries, the driver of the first vehicle was declared dead at the spot.

According to the investigation, this was Austin’s 81st deadly crash of 2024, making 86 people dead overall. In contrast, 83 people were killed in 80 fatal crashes on the same date in 2023.
