Houston Police Seek Dark SUV in Fatal Shooting of Teen on Caddo Lake Lane

A dark SUV linked to the shooting death of a male 17-year-old on Saturday, November 30, at around 6:40 p.m., in the 6900 block of Caddo Lake Lane is being sought by Houston police.

When officers arrived on the scene of a gunshot, they found the victim unconscious in the roadway. He was wounded by several gunshot wounds. He was declared dead at the scene by rescuers from the Houston Fire Department.

Investigators discovered that the victim had encountered people in a dark SUV. One or more people got out of the car during the encounter and shot the victim several times. The teenager retaliated before passing away from his wounds.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has yet to establish the victim’s identification.

Police are asking anybody with information to call the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or, if they would rather to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. They have also published a surveillance image of the suspected vehicle.

The inquiry is still ongoing, and no description of the suspect or suspects has been released as of yet.
