A routine traffic stop on Tuesday evening led to the arrest of Katherine Rice, a 29-year-old Houston resident.
As per kwhi The incident occurred at 7:20 p.m. in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West, where Officer Mark Morales of the Brenham Police Department pulled over Rice’s vehicle.
During the stop, Officer Morales discovered that Rice was driving with a suspended license. This violation alone warranted her immediate detention.
However, further investigation revealed that Rice also had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. The warrant was issued for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, adding to the seriousness of her legal troubles.
