The businesses hired to construct 140 homes for 2020 wildfire survivors in southern Oregon are being sued by the state of Oregon.
Oregon Housing and Community Services said in the roughly $11.8 million complaint that Pacific Housing Partners and Nashua Homes of Idaho Inc. abandoned the modular homes with several construction flaws, ranging from broken and cracked siding to incorrectly fitted drywall and roofing.
