Precinct 8 Deputy M. Self pulled over a car in the 17800 block of El Camino Real on November 10, 2024, at around 11:40 p.m., after observing it driving below the speed limit without headlights.
Speaking with the driver, Flavio Cesar Xon Tecum, 25, Deputy Self saw several indicators of intoxication and discovered beer bottles within the car. Xon Tecum was found to be impaired after completing standardized field sobriety tests. His blood alcohol content, as shown by Breathalyzer testing, was between.198 and.209, which is over three times the legal limit of.08.
Xon Tecum was previously arrested by Houston Police in June 2023 for driving while intoxicated and failing to stop and provide information, according to additional research. Active warrants resulted from his failure to appear in court for those counts.
Charges of Driving While Intoxicated were accepted by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. After being taken to the Harris County Joint Processing Center, Xon Tecum was given a $100 bond. Later, he was freed on a bond of general order.
