In relation to the October 20 shooting death of 24-year-old Brayan Rodriguez Baltodano, whose body was discovered in a car at 7575 Office City Drive in the Pecan Park neighborhood, a second suspect has been taken into custody. The man died from at least one gunshot wound after the shooting, which took place at approximately 4:20 p.m.
A 16-year-old minor was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities on December 3. Juan Vasquez, 17, was also taken into custody and accused of murder and aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon. The 488th State District Court is where he is being detained.
When police arrived on the scene of the apartment complex shooting, they found Rodriguez Baltodano unconscious in the front passenger seat of a car. At the site, paramedics declared him dead.
Officers from the HPD Eastside Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team detained Vasquez on November 13 after he was found to be a suspect in the shooting following more investigation. During the inquiry, the young suspect was also located, and on December 3, he was charged.
Charges pertaining to the event are pending against both accused. The inquiry is still under progress.
