The Portland Trail Blazers announced Thursday that coach Chauncey Billups will miss the next two games to spend time with his family after his grandmother passed away.
Until Billups returns, assistant coach Nate Bjorkgen will be the head coach.
The Blazers will play the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday after hosting the Utah Jazz on Thursday.
Billups might make a comeback for the game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night.
