“South winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 55 to 65 mph are expected along the headlands and open exposed areas like the beaches,” the weather service says. Expect 45 to 55 mph gusts elsewhere.
Damaged winds have the potential to topple electrical wires and trees. There will likely be some power outages. The weather service says, “Travel will be challenging, particularly for high-profile vehicles.”
