At 9:35 a.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory for the Foothills of the Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon, which was in effect until 3 p.m.
According to the weather service, there will be “Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.”
“Unsecured objects will be buffeted by gusty gusts. The weather agency says that there may be a few power disruptions and the possibility of tree branches being blown down. Strong winds like these can make driving challenging, particularly for well-known cars. Be especially careful.
