“South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts 45 to 50 mph expected, primarily at the base of the Blue Mountains,” the weather service notes.
“Unsecured objects will be buffeted by gusty gusts. The weather agency says that there may be a few power disruptions and the possibility of tree branches being blown down. Strong winds like these can make driving challenging, particularly for well-known cars. Be especially careful. Protect outdoor items.
