Waco Police Detention Leads to 43-Year-Old Man’s Death!

WACO, Texas – According to Waco Police Department Spokeswoman Cierra Shipley, the Texas Rangers are currently investigating the death of a 43-year-old man who died after being detained by Waco police officers on Sunday, June 11.

The officers were responding to reports of a suspicious person in the 200 block of Walker Street when they approached the individual, who subsequently fled on foot.

After catching up with the man, he experienced a medical emergency. Shipley stated that the officers administered CPR, and the man was later transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
