Content: ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – One of the juveniles accused of shooting into a mobile home and killing a five-year-old girl last year pled guilty to murder on Friday.
Police said five-year-old Galilea Samaniego was asleep in her home when Yahir Carballo, along with three other teens and a 19-year-old girl, fired eight shots into the home. Samaniego was hit in the head and killed.
Police said they were targeting another teen who lived at the address.
A KRQE News 13 photographer was not allowed in to film the trial, but court records show that Carballo pled guilty to one count of first-degree murder.
