A Texas man, Carl Stone from Trenton, became an instant millionaire during a morning giveaway at Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant, Oklahoma.
His life changed dramatically when his name was called as the second winner in the casino’s “3 Months 3 Millionaires” promotion.
Carl expressed his joy and gratitude, saying, “I feel very fortunate today, for sure. That money will go to help a lot of people, so I’m pretty happy.”
The excitement was palpable, as Thomas O’Sullivan, the casino’s director of marketing, shared the thrill of the moment.
“Making someone a millionaire is a once-in-a-lifetime feeling. To see the look on their face when they win a million dollars, and you get to tell them that their life has changed forever, is like nothing you’ve ever felt before,” he said.
According to the source, this isn’t the first time North Texans have struck it big at Choctaw Casino.
Last year’s summer giveaway also saw all three winners hail from North Texas, and this year’s first two winners are from the same region.
The final prize of the summer will be drawn on August 24 at 1 a.m., and the lucky winner must be present to claim their prize.
