According to Atlanta police, a man was shot by his daughter’s ex-boyfriend while helping her move out of their shared apartment.
According to the source, the incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. on Saturday along West Lake Drive.
The father was assisting his daughter in leaving a home she shared with an abusive boyfriend.
When he returned to collect the remaining items, David Wilkinson confronted him and shot him multiple times.

Police arrived on the scene and found Wilkinson still at the home. He was taken into custody, and charges against him are currently pending.
