Hobbs Police Seek Woman Linked to Tuesday Night Murder – Cash Reward Offered

Hobbs, New Mexico – Police in Hobbs are on the lookout for a woman in connection with a murder that took place on Tuesday evening.

Emergency teams were called to the 1100 block of North Gulf Street in Hobbs just after 8 p.m. on Tuesday for a “trauma with injury,” according to the source.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found 26-year-old Jonathan Losoya with a severe injury.

Despite efforts to save his life, Losoya was transported to Covenant Health Hobbs Hospital, where he later passed away.

Homicide detectives with the Hobbs Police Department are currently searching for 26-year-old Lexy Mabrey.

Mabrey is wanted for questioning regarding the death of Losoya.

The police are also urging any witnesses to come forward and provide information.
