LOS ANGELES — A visitor to the Orange County Fair recently struck it rich, thanks to a lucky $1 million Multiplier Craze Scratchers ticket.
This big win happened at the California Lottery LIVE! booth, where the ticket was purchased from 5 Star Liquor in Westminster.
According to the source, the excitement was palpable when the lucky person scratched off the ticket and realized they had won.
The store owner, Maysa Dagher, shared that the winner approached the booth discreetly, asking to confirm their win without making a scene.
“He came to the back window and said, ‘I know I won something, but don’t say anything aloud, and tell me if it is true,’” Dagher recounted.

After verifying the ticket, Dagher and her co-worker confirmed the substantial prize.
The CA Lottery LIVE! booth will be at the Orange County Fair until August 19. Another booth is also available at the Ventura County Fair until August 11.
