The Denton Police Department is currently in search of Katy Throneberry, a 16-year-old girl who has reportedly run away from her home. Throneberry was last spotted on June 9th at the Cracker Barrel located in the 4000 block of I-35 in Denton.
Surveillance footage from that day reveals her driving her parent’s blue Ford Crown Victoria alongside an unidentified male companion. She stands approximately 5’9″ tall, weighs around 150 lbs, and has blonde hair and blue eyes. While she wears glasses, it’s important to note that she may not always have them on.
According to the police, the car belonging to her parents was discovered in downtown Dallas the following day. At present, detectives do not suspect any foul play in this case. If you have any information regarding Katy Throneberry’s whereabouts, please contact Detective Morgan at 940.349.8470.
