NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The New Mexico State Police (NMSP) recently assisted Colorado authorities in capturing a murder suspect.
On July 20, Boulder County, Colorado, alerted NMSP about a suspect named Frank Perez, 30. He had an active warrant for murder and other serious crimes.
According to the source, authorities tracked Perez, who was allegedly heading to the Mexico border on a Greyhound bus.
During a bus stop, NMSP officers coordinated with Colorado officials to apprehend Perez. He was taken to the DeBaca County Detention Center without incident.
Additional evidence was seized from Perez, according to NMSP.
