AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three individuals following a hit-and-run car crash in the Walmart parking lot in Amsterdam on Friday.
According to the source, the suspects are also accused of committing grand larceny in Walmart just before the crash.
Charges
Ernest Fancher, 25, of Gloversville
- Fourth-degree grand larceny
- Third-degree burglary
- Second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation
Angelina Loubriel, 31, of Lake George
- Fourth-degree grand larceny
Mark Witthohn, 38, of Middle Grove
- Fourth-degree grand larceny
Deputies responded to a crash in the Walmart parking lot, where a white pickup truck allegedly struck a parked car before fleeing the scene.
During their investigation, a Sergeant found the suspected vehicle parked behind a home on Log City Road.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the investigation revealed that the three suspects stole from Walmart before the crash. The suspects were arraigned in the Town of Mohawk Court.
Fancher was placed in Montgomery County Correctional Facility without bail. Loubriel was released on her own recognizance and turned over to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office for an active warrant.
Witthohn was released with an appearance ticket for the town of Amsterdam Court.
