Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian and his wife Loreal have announced their decision to divorce after four years of marriage.
The couple shared this news on their Instagram accounts, highlighting that the decision was made amicably after significant discussions.
This marks the end of their journey together, which began when they married in 2020.
Loreal Sarkisian is Steve’s second wife. His first marriage, to Stephanie Sarkisian, lasted nine years and resulted in three children, including Texas football player Brady Sarkisian.
According to the source, Loreal’s role as the “first lady of Texas football” will also conclude with the divorce.
Known for her stylish, Texas-themed outfits on game days, Loreal often dressed her husband for special occasions as well.

The Sarkisians have a shared history with the University of Southern California (USC). Loreal previously worked as a track and field coach at USC after a successful collegiate career at North Carolina A&T University.
Steve and Loreal married while Steve was the offensive coordinator at the University of Alabama. They moved to Austin when Steve was hired as Texas’ head coach.
