Five standout players from the Wall baseball team have made a significant mark by being selected for the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 3A All-State baseball team.
This recognition highlights their exceptional performances throughout the season.
Gunnar Dillard, a junior and University of Oklahoma commit, earned a spot on the first team as a catcher.
His impressive stats include a .564 batting average, 17 doubles, five home runs, and three triples.
Dillard’s remarkable skills behind the plate and at bat have been a key asset to the team’s success.
According to the source, Luke Kemp, another junior, made the second team.
He showcased his talents with a .468 batting average, a .532 on-base percentage, 12 doubles, six home runs, and two triples.
Kemp’s consistent performance contributed significantly to the team’s overall achievements.
Senior pitcher and shortstop Augden Hallmark, who is committed to Midland College, along with senior third baseman Will Scherr, were named to the third team.
Both players demonstrated strong performances in their final high school season, leaving a lasting impact on the Wall Hawks’ lineup.
Rounding out the honors for Wall was senior second baseman Matt Steen, who received an honorable mention.
