Fate/strange Fake Episode 1 Recap!

After the Fifth Holy Grail War, the Mage Association discovers that a group of rebellious mages, led by Faldeus, plans to initiate a counterfeit Holy Grail War in the American city of Snowfield. While Lord El-Melloi II ponders over his course of action, his student, Flat Escardos, disobeys his orders and ventures to Snowfield, driven by his curiosity to witness the Holy Grail.

Upon reaching Snowfield, Flat successfully summons Jack the Ripper, a Berserker-class Servant. Additionally, Gilgamesh is summoned and aligns himself with Tiné Chelc, a young Native American girl who desires to reclaim her tribe’s land from the mages.

The mage who summoned Tiné is slain by the Assassin, only to return to life and develop an interest in shattering her religious beliefs. Meanwhile, Tsubaki, an unconscious girl, manages to summon a spirit-like Servant. The chief of Snowfield’s police enlists Caster’s assistance in procuring replicas of Noble Phantasms for his specialized team, Clan Calatin. Enkidu, summoned by a mage’s pet dog, also enters the fray.

Gilgamesh and Enkidu sense each other’s presence and engage in a confrontation driven by their longstanding feud. However, upon realizing that the other Servants are observing their battle, they agree to eliminate them before resuming their clash. The participants in the Fake Grail War are astounded by the tremendous power displayed by Gilgamesh and Enkidu.

Meanwhile, another mage endeavors to find a solution to end the Fake Grail War, a conflict capable of endangering the world, and pins his hopes on an unidentified “Intruder.” In Snowfield, an armed Servant approaches a young girl, inquiring if she is his Master. She refuses, rejecting the assigned role thrust upon her.
