RUIDOSO, N.M. — The FBI has launched an intensive search for suspects responsible for igniting two devastating wildfires in southern New Mexico, which claimed the lives of two individuals and ravaged over 1,400 structures.
Known as the South Fork Fire and Salt Fire, these blazes erupted near Ruidoso on June 17, prompting widespread evacuations and significant damage across the region.
